Role

Purpose:

The Head of Business is entrusted with steering all facets of Bashara Care operations, encompassing marketing, product assortment, operations, and customer experience. This role focuses on driving sales, elevating

customer satisfaction

, and reinforcing Bashara Care’s reputation as the leading online destination for skincare and beauty in the Middle East.

Key Accountabilities:

Strategic Leadership

Execute a holistic e-commerce strategy that aligns with Bashara Care’s vision and objectives, constantly reassess results and run test cases with the objective of continuously improve performance based on fast market dynamics.  Brand Positioning   Refine the brand’s value proposition to strengthen its competitive edge within the Middle Eastern market.  Category Management   Oversee Category assortment, pricing strategies, and

inventory management

, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.

Product Management   Oversee scoping and budget allocation for web and app development projects by leading the tech team/ agency to establish clear milestones and define measurable deliverables.  Performance Metrics   Establish corporate and functional KPIs across Sales, Marketing, and Operations. Implement reporting tools tailored to departmental needs to drive accountability and performance improvement.  Partnership Development   Forge strategic partnerships with leading beauty brands to broaden product offerings, elevate customer experience, and strengthen the company’s market position.

Spearhead negotiations to secure favorable agreements while cultivating long-term relationships with brand partners to drive mutual growth and

innovation

. Negotiate marketing budgets and margins with brand suppliers.  Supply Chain

Optimization

Design and manage a robust supply and delivery process across the region, balancing cost, agility, and delivery speed. Lead the assessment process of ERP capabilities.  Financial Management   Manage budgeting and financial planning processes, ensuring profitability and cash flow positivity while supporting sustainable growth.

Act as the custodian of P&L. Collaborate with the marketing team to select and implement marketing solutions, optimize budget allocations, and drive customer acquisition and retention.  Competition Awareness and Brand Launch   Stay aware of competition and trends in the industry. Launch new brands to stay ahead in the market.

Team Development

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team across Customer Service, Digital Marketing, Logistics, and Accounting, fostering a culture of agility and

continuous improvement

Role Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. Proven experience (7+ years) in E-commerce management, preferably in the beauty or consumer goods industry. Strong understanding of online retail dynamics and best practices in digital marketing, customer experience, and supply chain management. Experience in negotiating partnerships with brand manufacturers and suppliers. Data analysis and the use of analytics tools to drive decision-making.
