The Marketing Events Associate position at DCX is an exciting role where you’ll be involved in shaping the future of a fast-growing, global company. Working as part of a dynamic, fun team that spans Sales, Customer Experience, and Marketing, you’ll be part of an amazing company culture unlike any other, and be part of a team that collaborates on new initiatives and experiments almost every week! Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll primarily focus on managing our annual events program, but you’ll also cover some of our content, comms, and collateral from time to time, especially as they relate to our events and the pre and post event activities. As part of a small, but growing team, you’ll of course get to be involved in a number of other projects as we work together on new brand and campaign initiatives!

Your main responsibilities will be:

Events

Managing our national US events and tradeshows. This entails significant brand presence at 2 to 3 large tradeshows a year (may increase in the future), as well as a smaller presence at approx. 5 or 6 further events. This does not require running the entire tradeshow or event!
Owning and project managing the pre-, during and post- show plans and calendar, including booth bookings, materials handling, booth creative and production, merchandise, collateral, and lead capture, as well as pre-show marketing and post-show lead follow-up. Note this will require attendance at some of the events.
Managing the budget for each event, ensuring all costs are tracked and recorded, and that budgets are kept to.
Project managing and coordinating the travel and accommodation plans for all DCX event attendees.
Working closely with the Sales and CX teams to maximize our presence at each event, coordinate team member schedules and calendars, and ensure everyone knows what their role and goals are.
Additionally working with the Sales, CX, and the rest of the Marketing team to plan and coordinate occasional online events, in the form of webinars and virtual round tables.
Working with the rest of the Marketing team to coordinate ads, landing pages, emails and social media assets before and after events.
Coming up with innovative ideas for all our events to ensure DCX stand out from the crowd and that we maximize our lead capture opportunities.

Skills and experience you’ll bring to the role:

Approx. 2 to 5 years’ experience in Marketing including Marketing Event Management.
BA or equivalent experience in a Marketing / Business discipline.
Expert in event management and coordinating multiple tasks, timelines, and stakeholders.
Experience using HubSpot – for Emails, Campaigns, Landing Pages and CMS.
Top-notch collaboration skills.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Excellent written and copywriting skills. The ability to adapt our marketing language for different tones and marketing channels.
Superb attention to detail.
The ability to think creatively and come up with new and innovative ideas.
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with experience of using the likes of Asana to track projects.
Familiarity with EOS methodology a bonus!
A passion for high-growth companies and fast-paced environments!

The role is 100% remote.

Quarterly travel is required for occasional tradeshow and event attendance. Note that January/February are typically our busiest months for tradeshows so availability here is key.

Salary Range – $66,000 to $78,000 dependent on experience + 10% performance-based bonus.
