Overview
We are seeking a skilled Grant Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing funding through grants and other sources to support our organization’s mission and projects.
Duties
Research and identify grant funding opportunities
Write clear, compelling, and persuasive grant proposals
Manage the grant application process from start to finish
Maintain accurate records of grants, submissions, and outcomes
Collaborate with internal teams to gather information for proposals
Negotiate and manage contracts related to grants
Utilize tools such as DocuSign for document management
Procure necessary documentation for grant applications
Oversee contractor management related to grant-funded projects
Implement change management strategies as needed
Skills
Proficient in business development strategies related to grant funding
Strong research skills to identify appropriate grant opportunities
Experience in contract negotiation and management
Familiarity with tools like DocuSign for document handling
Excellent proposal writing abilities
Knowledge of records management practices
Ability to manage contractors effectively
Understanding of change management principles in a nonprofit setting
