Overview
The Outreach Specialist plays a vital role in connecting our organization with the community, promoting our mission, and fostering relationships with various stakeholders. This position requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about public health and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in program development, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement outreach programs that align with organizational goals.
Conduct public speaking engagements to raise awareness about our initiatives and services.
Manage social media platforms to enhance community engagement and promote events.
Collaborate with local organizations for fundraising efforts and community events.
Recruit and supervise volunteers to support outreach activities.
Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, including participant feedback and program outcomes.
Assist in project management to ensure timely execution of outreach initiatives.
Analyze market trends to identify potential partnerships and opportunities for growth.
Provide administrative support related to outreach efforts, including scheduling meetings and preparing reports.

Requirements

Proven experience in public speaking and effective communication skills.
Background in fundraising or grant writing is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with public health principles and practices is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in program development or project management is highly desirable.
Proficiency in social media management tools and strategies.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Previous experience in supervising or recruiting volunteers is advantageous.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $10,000.00 per year
