Social Media Manager – Jack&Pup

Jack&Pup is a premium pet treat company dedicated to providing dogs with high-quality, all-natural products that promote health and happiness.

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Manager to join our dynamic marketing team at Jack&Pup. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing engaging, high-quality content that showcases our premium pet treats, resonates with pet parents, and drives engagement across our social platforms. This role focuses primarily on content creation, including photography, graphic design, video production, and copywriting, with a strong emphasis on visual storytelling that highlights the quality of our products and the joy they bring to dogs.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute social media strategies that align with Jack&Pup’s premium positioning and overall marketing goals.
Create engaging, pet focused content tailored for each social media platform (Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok) including graphics, videos, and written posts.
Conduct thorough research on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor activities to inform content strategy.
Showcase our premium treats through compelling visuals that highlight quality, ingredients, and happy customers through innovative, creative content.
Manage the social media calendar to ensure timely posting of content and campaigns..
Design graphics and visuals that resonate with our target audience of discerning pet parents.
Proofread all content to ensure high-quality standards and consistent brand voice that reflects our premium positioning.
Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and respond to comments or messages from pet parents in a timely manner.
Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive messaging across all marketing efforts.
Help develop UGC (user-generated content) campaigns featuring customer pets enjoying Jack&Pup products.
Collaborate with other content creators to reach new audiences.
Create story lines and series of content that will be engaging.

Experience

At least 3-5 years of proven experience in social media management or digital marketing.
Strong knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator or similar tools.
Strong skills in content creation, graphic design, and video editing.
Excellent research abilities to stay updated on trends within the pet care industry/social media as a whole.
Ability to create compelling content that resonates with target audiences.
Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) for tracking performance metrics.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for pets and storytelling through visual content that captivates pet-loving audiences.
Experience with pet influencer marketing is a plus.
