Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate with a heart for seniors to join our Sales and Marketing team!
The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting the Director of Business Development and Community Relations with tours, administrative duties, and projects, and to ensure a smooth resident move-in process, from prospecting to presentation, proposal, contracts, move-in, retention and follow-up. The Sales Associate is expected to help foster a positive atmosphere in the community.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
At least one year of sales and marketing experience preferred.
Experience in long-term care sales and marketing is preferred.
College degree is preferred.
Excellent computer skills including high competency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Close attention to detail.
Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
Must be available for a flexible schedule (even within the workday).
Must have the proven ability to prioritize workload and multi-task.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Effectively track each prospect from initial inquiry through the final decision
Keep all prospect records current on a daily basis
Build a trusting and positive relationship with prospects by:
Understanding prospect’s needs and concerns
Overcoming and answering objections
Ensure that model suite(s) apartment(s) are well maintained
Work with director to customize contracts
Create the resident’s Administrative File and ensure that all move-in paperwork is complete and correctly processed.
Assist with new residents and family members on the day of move-in to help in the transition to their new home
Visit each new resident to evaluate his or her adjustment and make subsequent visits
Call family members to offer an update on the transition
Assist in completing marketing calls and in distribution of mailouts.
Provide tours for potential residents.
Assist in in-house and community presentations.
