Jr. Interior Designer Jobs in Charlotte, NC at Emerald & Oak
Our design showroom in Southpark is in need of a full time Design Assistant. Must have a friendly demeanor & design experience Will be responsible for scheduling appointments, logging & inspecting deliveries, arranging installs & deliveries, taking measurements/ photos, creating CAD drawings and various design related assigned tasks as needed by team.
Other tasks may include:
Assist with sample boards and mood board preparation
Oversee & maintain material libraries
Prepare completed homes for interior photography sessions
Coordinate selection meetings with clients and vendors
Assist with field measurements & photos
Assist with the social media content
Assist lead designers with selections, mood boards and renderings in CAD
Prepare invoices & PO’s to submit to clients & pay vendor bills
Qualifications
Must be a team player with a strong work ethic, a “can-do” attitude
Must be able to listen and communicate effectively and to be held accountable for work performed
Must possess strong client service skills and establish and build rapport with management, vendors, and clients
Skilled in SketchUp software
Comfortable with technology and capable of managing the entire process through our online portal including selection approval, allowance management, and design change orders
Degree in design or minimum 3+ years experience in design related field preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
