ABOUT LIBERTY
When our pioneering founder Arthur Lasenby Liberty laid plans in 1875 for an emporium laden with luxuries and fabrics from distant lands, his dream was to metaphorically dock a ship in London’s streets. In 1875, that dream was realised.
Our first store was situated on Regent’s Street, with three dedicated staff and a truckload of ambition. But it was in 1924 that the now iconic Tudor-style building on Great Marlborough Street became our forever home.

The Liberty spirit may be one of reinvention and originality, yet 149 years later, a voyage of discovery still awaits on the good ship Liberty. Our iconic listed flagship building and dynamic ecommerce platform play host to over 600 of the world’s most extraordinary luxury brands – including the industry-leading fabrics, apparel, beauty and homeware collections borne from our very own (and incredibly talented) in-house design studio.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE:
Exciting times lay ahead as we embark on transformative projects within Liberty, and to meet the growing demands, we are seeking a talented junior content writer to help us drive brand fame through creative, persuasive writing across a spectrum of channel outputs.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Content Editor in upholding the Liberty tone of voice and vision through all campaign messaging and copy
Craft inspirational copy for a variety of outputs, including but not limited to: editorial articles, emails, website, printed materials and publications, in store signage, social media captions
Turn your hand to long-form editorial content that answers business priorities across all product and service categories
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders from across the business, including marketing, buying and retail, to ensure business priorities are successfully met
Follow the direction of SEO resource to optimise all editorial articles based on data, and ensure content effectively speaks to the Liberty audience
Work alongside marketing to ideate and deliver first-class invested media content for third-party brands
