Position Overview:
We’re seeking a Junior Interior Designer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in the interior design field. You’ll support lead designers throughout the design process, from concept to completion. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about interior design—ready to bring fresh ideas, take initiative, and grow within a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
Support lead designers in developing concepts, presentations, and space plans
Draft floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar)
Source furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials
Assist with preparing and presenting client mood boards and design packages
Help manage project documentation, schedules, and vendor communications
Participate in site visits, installations, and styling
Maintain and organize materials library and samples
Qualifications:
2–4 years of interior design experience (internships, freelance, or studio experience welcome)
Strong eye for design, space planning, color coordination, and styling
Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
Excellent communication and organization skills
Self-motivated and able to manage tasks with minimal supervision
Passionate about interiors and keeping up with design trends
Preferred but Not Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
Familiarity with procurement, vendor coordination, and installation processes
Experience with residential and/or boutique commercial projects
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $50,946.00 – $53,190.00 per year
