Lead Patient Engagement Coordinator Jobs in Columbus, GA at Centricity Research
The Lead Patient Engagement Coordinator is responsible for all research related recruitment initiatives in order to recruit high quality patients in accordance with Centricity Research recruitment guidelines. They are also responsible for assisting the Patient Engagement Manager with day-to-day management of the team, answering questions to support other PECs in their understanding of scheduling and protocols. They will also help support scheduling and assigning tasks to the team. The Lead Patient Engagement Coordinator will demonstrate superior knowledge of protocols including inclusion/exclusion criteria and be familiar with the medications and medical diseases that coincide with research conducted at Centricity Research.
Enrollment & Retention Support: Collaborate with the Patient Engagement Supervisor on initiatives to optimize patient enrollment and retention, including problem-solving and contingency planning.
Team Training & Coaching: Assist with training, shadowing, and coaching sessions for Patient Engagement Coordinators (PECs), providing feedback and input as needed. Responsible for managing their teams tasks and day to day activities.
Site Communication & Protocol Support: Serve as a liaison to sites by addressing scheduling and protocol-related queries from PECs.
Database & Outreach Management: Maintain the ad caller database, assist with query uploads, respond to patient inquiries on social media, and ensure timely follow-up on patient communications.
Community Engagement & Metrics Tracking: Attend community events to promote clinical trials, provide regular recruitment metrics, and support outreach initiatives to drive study awareness and participation.
PEC Activities
Return all phone calls/email responses to interested patients within 24 – 48 hours
Accurately complete recruitment tracking log and all applicable clinical trial management systems
Identify appropriate study candidacy based on knowledge of sites recruiting and upcoming studies
Complete database query reviews for study candidacy and conduct outbound calls for study interest
Provide study metrics on a regular basis and provide ongoing feedback regarding outcome of recruitment initiatives
Occasionally attend community lectures, health fairs or events to promote Centricity Research
Promote clinical trials in the community through outreach events
Minimum:
Post-secondary scientific diploma/certification or 2 years minimum experience working in a healthcare setting
Preferred:
Experience in Marketing and/or sales
