Collegiate Hotel Group is seeking an Area Marketing Manager to join our marketing team to support property-level marketing for 2 hotels in Colorado – Hotel Boulderado and Table Mountain Inn.

POSITION PURPOSE

The Area Marketing Manager will oversee the implementation of marketing initiatives at the property level, as well as be responsible for concepting and executing property-specific marketing efforts for the assigned hotels. This will include cultivating relationships with local partners, as well as executing all organic marketing and brand realization onsite. The Area Marketing Manager will support promotional press efforts and generating brand awareness via social media platforms. This position will report directly to the General Manager with an indirect line to the CHG corporate marketing team at Schulte Hospitality Group. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, outgoing, a creative thinker, and enjoy working in a fast-pace entrepreneurial environment. Position will be on-site in Boulder, CO.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive traffic to the hotel, on-site dining through concepting and executing dynamic marketing plans inclusive of advertising, email campaigns, local events, programming and sponsorships
Develop relationships with local like-minded businesses to create meaningful partnerships. Interact and build relationships with the community to generate brand awareness and engagement
Create and updating property marketing calendars
Concept and execute programming events for the property and food & beverage outlet
Create content plan and oversee any photoshoots
Assist with property marketing and promotions by being involved in design and creation process for promotional materials such as offers, e-blasts, advertising and collateral
Develop marketing campaigns and execute across all channels including website, email, social and paid search.
Manage collateral and creative requests.
Manage property marketing budgets
Keep website up-to-date with latest information
Identify and vet new ideas and guest experiences, and work with operations team for rollout
Provide marketing expertise to the executive management team
Manage creative campaign development and production
Manage execution of projects
Performs any other job related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
3+ years of experience in Marketing, Public Relations or related field
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and consistently demonstrate a high level of organizational skill and critical thinking
Proven experience carrying out marketing campaigns, including planning, prioritizing, and implementing strategy
Metric-driven, proactive and goal-oriented leader capable of independently managing tasks and reflecting business acumen

Compensation: $65,000-$75,000
