TC Marketing is a boutique marketing agency dedicated to helping brands create compelling content and impactful digital strategies. We specialize in social media marketing, content creation, and brand storytelling to drive engagement and growth for our clients.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Content Creator to join our team as an independent contractor. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting engaging, on-brand content for client social media accounts. You’ll work closely with the agency lead to develop content strategies, create copy and designs, source trends, and ensure all client content is ready for scheduling.

This is a remote, project-based role with opportunities to expand responsibilities and grow within the agency over time.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knows how to write compelling, on-brand social media copy.
Has experience designing IG feed posts, stories, and reels.
Can adapt to different brand voices while keeping content fresh.
Works well independently and meets deadlines.
Is organized and comfortable using tools like Airtable & Slack.

COMPENSATION & EXPECTED WORKLOAD

Pay Structure:
This is a contractor position, paid per project per client at $500 per client per month, based on an hourly rate of $20/hour.

Expected Hours:
Approximately 25 hours per client per month, depending on content needs, revision rounds, and client feedback.

Immediate Opportunities:
We currently have 4 client accounts available for you to start working on immediately.

Estimated Monthly Time Breakdown (per client)

Content planning & strategy: ~3 hours
Copywriting: ~10 hours
Design creation: ~7 hours
Revisions & finalization: ~2.5 hours
Trend research, Airtable updates, and admin tasks: ~2.5 hours (combined)

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Review monthly performance data to create strategic, data-driven content plans.
Develop content strategies tailored to each client’s goals, managed within their Airtable board.
Write Instagram feed and story post copy that aligns with client messaging and objectives.
Design feed and story creatives that maintain brand consistency and marketing goals.
Revise creatives based on managers feedback, working toward a streamlined approval process with minimal revisions over time.
Source trending music for reels and maintain an organized database of inspiration links and trend recommendations in Airtable.
Upload all finalized creatives as drafts in Airtable for review and approval.
Continuously update the marketing database with new content ideas, trends, and creative inspiration.

JOB EXPECTATIONS

Follow TC Marketing’s content creation SOPs and ensure all content meets brand quality standards.
Respond to all team communications via Slack and Airtable within 24 hours.
Provide at least one month’s notice for any planned time off to ensure smooth workflow adjustments.
Non-Compete Clause: Contractors are prohibited from soliciting or working directly with TC Marketing’s clients for six months after ending their contract with the agency.
Adhere to all monthly and weekly deadlines as outlined in the workflow schedule. 1-2 day turnaround for creative work needed during weekdays.

MONTHLY CONTENT CREATION WORKFLOW:

Week 1: Content Planning & Creation

Monday: Manager finalizes high-level strategy documents and Loom videos for each client by 2 PM CT.
Tuesday: Content Creator fills out the monthly content plan in Airtable, outlining post flow and content types (no copy/design yet). Submit content calendar for Tirzah’s review by 2 PM CT. Manager provides feedback by end of day (EOD).
Wednesday: Content Creator builds out detailed copywriting (B-level, no design yet) – ~3 hours per client.
Thursday: Submit B-level copy to Manager by 2 PM CT for feedback. Manager reviews and provides feedback/implementation notes for design edits by EOD.
Friday: Content Creator completes designs for all content. Manager reviews designs by 2 PM CT. Final edits made by 5 PM CT (or over the weekend if needed) to ensure all content is ready for client review by Monday.

Week 2: Client Review & Final Edits

Monday – Tuesday: Clients review content and provide feedback.
Wednesday – Thursday: Final edits completed in Airtable by 2 PM CT.
Thursday PM – Friday: Assistant (not the content creator) schedules and preps all content for the upcoming week.

Weeks 3 & 4: Strategy & Optimization

Manager holds strategy calls with clients for the upcoming month (content creator does not need to attend)
Data collection and performance review for the current month (done by content creator)
Content Creator and Manager analyze content performance and refine strategies.
Content Creator contributes to the monthly strategy document for client strategy calls.
Trend sourcing, B-roll requests, and inspiration gathering for the next month’s content.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
