Job Summary:
As a Go to Market (GTM) Manager, you will be a key player in driving growth by identifying and developing new audience segments for The IIA. You will create and execute strategies that expand our reach, build demand, and ultimately drive growth within untapped markets. Your deep understanding of the market landscape, combined with your strategic marketing skills, will help position our offerings effectively and create pathways for sustained success.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Strategy:
Lead the development of comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new audience segments, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Conduct market research to identify key trends, audience behaviors, and emerging opportunities within target markets.
Develop customer personas and map out customer journeys to understand pain points and opportunities for conversion.
Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and adjust GTM plans as necessary.
Partner with Sales and Customer Relations to understand customer/member pain points and friction.
Develop experimentation plans based on informed hypotheses that can be measured, repeated, and scaled when necessary.
Demand Generation:
Work with Digital Marketing & Content Marketing to build targeted marketing initiatives designed to generate demand for new products and open new audiences for existing products.
Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies (digital, social, email, events) to reach and engage prospective audiences.
Drive awareness campaigns and demand-capture efforts, ensuring we are converting existing demand as efficiently as possible.
Performance Tracking and Optimization:
Develop measurement and performance signals to gauge the success of go-to-market experiments and continuously optimize campaigns for maximum impact.
Regularly analyze marketing, membership, and ecommerce data to assess campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.
Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM systems, etc.) to generate reports and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to proactively adjust GTM strategies.
Continuously seek opportunities for growth and improvement within marketing processes, channels, and campaigns.
Technical Proficiency:
Utilize various design tools and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Google Analytics, and other relevant platforms. Digital advertising platform experience is a plus.
Implement agile methodologies in the go to market process to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, data analytics, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years focused on go-to-market strategy or demand generation.
Proven track record of successfully launching products or services to new market segments.
Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing and customer acquisition strategies.
Experience in membership organizations or subscription-based models is highly desirable.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven approach to marketing strategy and decision-making.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to work cross-functionally and manage relationships with key stakeholders.

Education and/or Experience
A bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, five or more years related experience and/or training in marketing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Multiple language skills are an asset to any role within The IIA.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, cost per, proportions, percentages, ROI, and margin.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
Intermediate or higher ability to work in a computerized environment with a working knowledge of most Microsoft Office products. Experience with the Windows operating system and high-level knowledge of CRM platforms and reports, marketing automation, and digital advertising platforms.
