Blazing Cards is a Pokemon livestream e-commerce company with two livestreams dedicated to selling Pokemon cards. We’ve got all sorts of products ranging from vintage packs from 1999, all the way to new stuff that just came out in Japan. Our goal is to continuously build a community of collectors and pokemon fans through the entertainment we provide on our livestreams and in our content.
About This Role:
Blazing Cards is looking for a Creative Producer to help our growing marketing team expand our presence on TikTok, Instagram, Twitch, and YouTube. We’re looking for experts in content creation who know how to make videos from ideation through execution. An ideal candidate is somebody who is versed in creative (full of ideas, follows trends, active on social media), has a background in producing short form social media content, is passionate about Pokemon, and can adapt to the day to day needs of the business.
This role will report to the Lead Producer
This is an on-site part-time role based in Burbank, CA.
The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $20. Starting compensation will reflect the candidate’s experience and local market rates.
What You’ll Do:
Come up with content ideas to pitch to Lead Producer
Write, shoot, and produce videos to be cross uploaded on TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Assist in production of longer YouTube videos
Sourcing competitor examples and finding ways to adapt internet trends and current events for our audience
Identify successful content and capitalize on momentum by producing similar content
Brainstorm, workshop, refine, and report on content with Lead Producer
Write copy for video captions / descriptions simultaneously optimizing for SEO and engagement
About You:
A love for Pokemon with knowledge extending throughout every era of the franchise’s history.
An excellent writer – wordsmith like a pro, understands subtlety in phrasing, strong hooks.
A captivating storyteller – storytelling the heart of every good piece of content
Someone who makes us laugh – humor is second nature to you and you’re able to apply it to content creation.
Urgency – hits deadlines and takes action even if the result may not be pixel-perfect
Good creative intuition – know the underlying objectives, how to interpret briefs.
Endless inspiration – bursting with ideas, and can source ideas from social media, TV, etc.
Resource conscious – squeeze the most out of minimal budgets, understands that quality of content comes from time management/ideas/execution and not from the fanciest rig
2+ years of content creation experience, preferably for a TikTok or Reels account (Can be professional or personal experience)
Strong production skills, including scripting, storyboarding, and directing
Ability to edit / Adobe Premiere
Mastery of the TikTok and Instagram apps
Attention to detail and an eye for catching mistakes
Can juggle multiple projects simultaneously and hit deadlines
Excellent communication skills
High standards, takes ownership, and is invested in the outcome

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
