Potential Opportunity is a holding company for multiple companies in technology, marketing, investing, and professional development. This role would be managing the community, communication, and outreach channels for all programs within Potential Opportunity.
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Community Manager to join our marketing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and nurturing our online communities, planning and executing marketing events, and driving overall engagement across multiple channels. You will leverage your expertise in Community Marketing, Email Marketing, Social Media, and Virtual Events to create memorable experiences that strengthen brand loyalty. Key Responsibilities
Community Management: Build, engage, and maintain relationships with our online community across various platforms. Respond to inquiries, foster positive interactions, and encourage user-generated content.
Community Marketing: Develop and implement community-centric marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and user engagement.
Marketing Event Planning: Plan and organize virtual and in-person events (webinars, workshops, meetups) to create opportunities for community members to connect and learn.
Email Marketing: Create compelling email campaigns to nurture leads, increase user engagement, and drive conversions. Measure and report on email performance, optimizing campaigns based on data insights.
Social Media: Manage social media channels to ensure brand consistency, publish engaging content, and increase followers and interactions.
Virtual Events: Oversee the planning and execution of online events, including platform setup, speaker coordination, and post-event follow-up.
HubSpot Management: Use HubSpot to manage customer relationships, track campaign performance, and automate marketing workflows.
Newsletter Writing: Write, design, and distribute regular newsletters to keep community members informed, engaged, and up-to-date on upcoming events and product updates.
Qualifications
Experience (3+ years) in either Community Management, Marketing Event Planning, and Community Marketing, Content Marketing, Communications, or applicable skills
Background doing email marketing, social media, and virtual events ideally
Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM/marketing automation tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience in newsletter & social media writing is a plus.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize campaign performance.
Self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Open to someone transitioning and willing to learn new things
Bonus: Experience in B2B SaaS and/or Cybersecurity
Location: Remote, but ideally in North America, Central America, or South America for better time-zone alignment.
Benefits
Competitive Compensation: $36,000 to $75,000 per year, based on experience.
