About The RoleThe Marketing Partnerships team collaborates with external brands and agency/production partners as well as internal cross-functional teams to find unique ways to bring iconic brands closer to our biggest shows & movies through compelling campaigns, activations, sponsorships, and other innovative solutions. You will join the team in Korea and will be responsible for outreach with potential brand partners, to build relationships and gain a deep understanding of their goals, planning process, creative ambition, and core equities. At the earliest stages of development, you will work cross functionally with the content, marketing, and legal teams to identify titles that strategically align with the Netflix Integrated Marketing approach. You will work closely with the Korea Content team through scripts, show bibles and creator strategy to identify the most synergistic opportunities for iconic brands to come closer to Netflix IP. You and the team will research and engage with a cross-section of brands to identify potential partners and find meaningful connections between titles, audiences, and partner’s marketing priorities. You will guide the team to negotiate and shape robust partnerships with admired brands in support of Netflix’s most prominent films and series.

We are looking for a proven, motivated and innovative marketer, capable of leading the development, implementation, and execution of brand partnerships and marketing integrations that continue to grow our subscriber base and advance our mission to entertain the world.

Key Responsibilities

Developing a strategic vision for key brand partnerships and integrated marketing programs in Korea.

Ensuring close alignment with the APAC Content, Marketing & PR teams, working at script stage to identify the greatest opportunities for brand partnerships and integrations, where appropriate.

Identify the right brands and lead the negotiation in close collaboration with the Sales team.

Developing a growth plan and vision, aligning with external and internal stakeholders, to deliver business impact.

Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to our Sales, Ads Marketing, PR, Content, Title Marketing and Consumer Products.

Extracting insights from partners and internal marketing teams to develop and steer the strategic & creative vision on your projects from inception through to execution.

Driving direction and alignment across cross-functional teams, content, brand, and agency partners.

Requirements

15+ years of experience developing, negotiating, and executing incredibly creative partnerships and brand campaigns.
