OBJECTIVE SUMMARY:
Contributes to development of a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that enhances the Snoqualmie Valley Health brand and supports the District’s mission, vision and objectives. Develops, writes, maintains a variety of materials to attract and grow the District’s patient base and attract and recruit prospective new employees. Ensures content aligns with brand strategy, focusing on quality, consistency, and timely delivery while managing costs. Exhibits initiative, adeptly manages workload, and strategically prioritizes tasks to achieve optimal outcomes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Content Creation: Develop and design attractive and professional content in accordance with brand strategy that supports the District’s strategic plan and drives business growth. Coordinates and assists in videography and photography shoots from conception to filming and editing.
Brand Integrity: Ensures all content supports brand strategy and is consistent with mission, vision and values. Ensures brand standards are upheld and creates templates to be used by other staff.
Digital Marketing: Maintains the external website and other digital assets to ensure accuracy and professionalism. Drive digital marketing initiatives across various online platforms to amplify brand presence, engage audiences and foster meaningful connections within the community.
Team Collaboration: Builds collaborative relationships with other departments to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with broader organizational goals and act as a consultant for various projects.
Analytics and Reporting: Supports the development and implementation of campaigns to accomplish specific goals and objectives. Conduct data analysis using analytics tools to track and measure campaign performance, providing insights to refine strategies for better outcomes.
Professional Development and Innovation: Engages in professional development to stay updated on emerging marketing trends, innovative approaches, and industry best practices to bring fresh ideas to the table. Thinks creatively and takes initiative in proposing new ideas or campaigns.
Community Engagement: Coordinates and attends community engagement initiatives to foster trust within the local community and build brand loyalty.
Performs special projects and other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in communication, public relations, marketing or related field.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Two years of directly-related professional work experience preferred, including AP Style writing, graphic design and social media campaigns.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Previous healthcare experience preferred.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of and experience with graphic design and best layout practices preferred for both print and digital media.
Advanced writing and editing skills. Ability to write in AP Style for press releases and professional brochures.
Working knowledge of and experience with various social media outlets including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, as well as mass email dissemination software.
Knowledge of webpage development and content management.
Strong verbal communication and professional presentation skills including the ability to publicly articulate the position of the district.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Advanced computer skills and ability to learn and effectively use a variety of software/technology solutions, including, but not limited to, Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher), Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Audition and Premiere Pro).
Ability to cultivate effective working relationships and work in collaboration with providers, other healthcare professionals, caregivers and patients.
Ability to perform a wide variety of assignments that require the use of independent judgment, problem-solving, organization, prioritization and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule with occasional long hours and night/weekend commitments.
Must have appropriate transportation and ability to travel to various locations both inside and outside the district.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Office environment with occasional outdoor events.

Eligibility Requirements – Employees regularly scheduled at least 20 hours per week.
Employee Dependents – Your legal spouse or domestic partner, Dependent children until age 26.
Waiting Period – 1st of the month following your date of hire.
