The Dispensary and Sol-Canna are premier leading cannabis businesses that provide retail and cultivation center employment for individuals in Illinois. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for all marketing activities as directed by the Principal Office, specializing in developing and executing marketing campaigns to promote products or services. They will create brand awareness, attract potential customers, and drive business growth. The primary objective will be to effectively communicate the value proposition of a company’s offerings to the identified target markets.
The responsibilities of the Marketing Specialist include creating advertisements and store promotions, scheduling pop-ups and educations, managing social media accounts and responding to messages.
Full-time position available Monday through Sunday between 8AM and 9PM. Employment will include an initial training and probationary period.
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
Applicants should be proficient in marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, CRM software, and/or social media management tools. Please include information regarding marketing experience and skills including the use of marketing tools and platforms. Cannabis specific experience is applicable.
Applicants should be friendly and courteous. This position will require a high level of professionalism, organizational skills, multitasking and often will involve dealing with persons suffering from pain or other symptoms, looking to find relief. Patience, professionalism, confidentiality, and understanding when dealing with everyone is of the greatest importance.
Applicant’s must have a valid, unexpired driver’s license and access to vehicle. This position has approximately 25% travel requirements to attend community social events in various locations in Illinois. Some will be weekend activities.
All applicants are required to undergo an FBI background check and fingerprinting through the state of Illinois, as required by state law. No individual is allowed to work in a licensed cannabis facility prior to undergoing a background check, being fingerprinted, and receiving their cannabis dispensary agent card from the State of Illinois.
Additional knowledge of cannabis varieties, products, treatment options regarding various ailments, patient confidentiality (HIPAA), and the state program (Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act 410 ILCS 705, IDPH Title 77 IL Adm. Code 946, IDFPR Title 68 IL Adm. Code 1290) is encouraged.
