A Brief Overview
The Marketing Project Specialist will prepare and present progress updates to appropriate management channels, ensuring the efficiencies we seek is being achieved. The Marketing Project Specialist identifies the project’s goals, objectives, and scope to create a project plan that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required. Communicates with the project team and stakeholders, manage risk and issues, and monitor progress to ensure that the project stays on track.
What you will do
Determine and define project scope and objectives.
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
Monitor progress and adjust as needed.
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
Manage a full workload; prioritize tasks and navigate shifting priorities.
Other Qualifications/Requirements
Ability to solve problems creatively.
Experience with seeing projects through the full life cycle.
Ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
Ability to consult on challenging Marketing and Customer Experience related issues.
Strong communication skills, with an ability to function and succeed in a dynamic environment.
Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Bachelor’s Degree Business, Computer Science, or Project Management Minimum 3 years professional experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Agile Project Management upon hire required.
Project Management Certificate upon hire preferred.
