Job Summary: Flora is seeking a Marketing Content Creator and Coordinator to support the Sales and Marketing department in a dynamic role, primarily focused on content creation, social media management, and writing that requires you to execute and manage various initiatives for our brand(s). The Marketing Content Creator and Coordinator will be a pivotal role for our team, assisting in primary and secondary market research to target areas of opportunity and risk, assisting in creating and executing marketing plans, and managing various B2C initiatives to support the company. They will manage content creation, social media, branding events, promotions, website, and creative. This position will support vendor days, meet and greets, budtender events, and brand events.
We are a small team and we must have a team-oriented culture with personal accountability and responsibility. You will be expected to work closely with our Sales and Operation Teams to coordinate efforts to make sure product quality is premium and the customer experience is exceptional.

Essential Functions:
– Assist the Sales and Brand Manager in the development and implementation of marketing and advertising strategies and campaigns with quantifiable goals and metrics that measure the effectiveness of the campaigns, build brand awareness, support product launches and product sales, and improve future efforts. Actively communicate objectives, timeline status and setbacks to Marketing Manager, as well as solicit feedback, guidance, and input from the same.
– Assist Sales and Brand Manager in managing social media scheduling and engagement, establish an ongoing social media content calendar including social media posts, reels, weekly product drops, newsletters, and emails. Capture content at facility and company events. Provide campaign based, and monthly analytics reports to Marketing and Brand Manager.
– Conduct market research, including primary market research, and keep up with industry trends. Provide actionable intelligence to the Sales team and Marketing Manager on opportunities and threats in the marketplace that help facilitate sales and the launch of future products.
– Create reports based upon key metrics to evaluate the success of the company’s marketing initiatives.
– Assist the Sales and Brand Manager in the planning and execution of events including expos, trade shows, popups, and corporate events/initiatives.
– Work with Sales and Brand Manager to ensure visual and message uniformity across all company materials, including digital content, marketing collateral, training materials, and other printed and digital assets.
– Develop, procure, and maintain merchandise inventory.
– Assist Sales and Brand Manager in the development of standard operating practices for the Marketing Department.
– All other duties as requested.
Basic Qualifications:
– Digital Marketing, including social media management: 5-10 years (required)
– Marketing: 10+ years (preferred)
– Cannabis Industry Experience: 1 year (preferred)
– Bachelor’s Degree: Marketing or equivalent (preferred)
– Strong writing skills.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional/public setting

– Computer skills – Proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, spreadsheets, and typing; and above-average knowledge of Microsoft Office including: Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, Skype, and Flow; proficient using a MAC laptop and/or tablet.

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
