About the role:

A Marketing Project Manager at Grön is responsible for all field marketing and event coordination, promotional campaign management at retail locations and events, implementation of retail merchandising with our partners, and efficient distribution of both digital and physical marketing assets to relevant stakeholders. This individual will maintain a project management platform, manage the workflow of the art department, coordinate with print, swag and display vendors, manage team resources and keep staff accountable to deadlines.

This role will be onsite at our Portland, Oregon office with work from home flexibility on Friday each week.

In this role you will:

Project Management Tooling: Own Asana to track every task from ideation to completion and responding to all notifications
Project Management & Project Updates: Run the Monday morning project status meeting, providing updates and determining daily priorities. Take ownership of weekly Creative Review meetings to keep team on track
Brief Intake: Liaison between sales requests and design team. Vet briefs for accuracy and submit briefs with all specs, approved copy and promo deal details to design team
Team Capacity: Track available team capacity based on total hours available per designer per week, while balancing with total hours of requested design work to allow for accurate estimations of due dates. Work with team to allow for workback schedules and timelines, maintaining project plans
Resource Management: Assessing team and individual workload, reallocating resources as needed and determining project priority based on urgency and impact. Coordinate with Marketing Directors and Art Director to assign projects to design team
Budgeting & Vendor Relations: Work with vendors to assess quotes for print and swag projects, support proofing process, and coordinate deliveries of printed materials. Troubleshoot printing issues, color matching, and proof accuracy with Art Director and Marketing Director
Version Control: Maintain accurate version control for evergreen design resources including Budtender Educational Decks, Sales Sheets, and Product Catalogs
Asset Management: Coordinate distribution of assets for product launches, campaigns, sales support, and retailer requests
Asset Archival: Audit file management system (we use Dropbox) and archive old work each quarter. Archive print materials and maintain records of invoices and vendor documentation

You’ll be a great fit if you have the following:

You have 3-5 years of experience in marketing, with a proven record of accomplishment of managing comprehensive strategies and content creation
A degree in marketing, communications, or related field is a huge plus
You pride yourself in being analytical, organized, and a strong leader to your team & peers
You are proficient in marketing tools such as in Asana (required), Microsoft 365 (required), CRMs, WordPress, DAMs, and other digital marketing tools and project management platforms
You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
You love to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
You have knowledge of regional marketing nuances and compliance regulations, experience in cannabis marketing will be favored
You demonstrate integrity and respect in all interactions, fostering a positive and supportive work environment
You strive for the highest standards in every aspect of your role
You can adapt to and drive change with enthusiasm

At Grön, we go through the same interview steps for all Marketing PM candidates to ensure equity in our hiring process. Our process is designed to learn as much about each candidate as possible, as well as give candidates access to our team and hear what it’s like to work with us.
