Resources for Independence Central Valley is recruiting for the position of Marketing and Grants Coordinator. This part-time, non-exempt position is predominantly a remote work position with a small percentage of time required in the office. The Marketing and Grants Coordinator is responsible for leading, guiding and implementing resource development activities at RICV. This includes marketing, fundraising and minimal grant support activities in accordance with the goals established by the board and the management of the organization. This position in partnership with the Executive Director is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with current and perspective donors including individuals, businesses, foundations, and other potential funding sources. It is anticipated that this position will spend a percentage of their time on fund development, on marketing and public relations, and grant research and a supportive role related to grant proposals.
Job Type: Part-Time, 28hrs/week with a potential to transition to Full-Time

Qualifications:
Ability to research local, state, and federal government sources and foundations.
Ability to establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with the board of directors, staff, donors, volunteers and the general public.
A history of successful event planning, coordination, and execution.
Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the independent living philosophy.
Promotion of consumer control, choice, and respect for people with disabilities and older adults.
Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office software, Google Suites and the ability to learn how to use other platforms such as customer relationship management database software applications.
Minimum 3-5 years education and/or experience in marketing or related field.
Access to reliable transportation as it will be necessary to travel to RICV meetings, office locations and events within the RICV service area.
