Paid Ads Specialist for Women’s Outdoor Ecommerce Store
Overview
We’re a growing ecommerce business selling women’s outdoor brands (hiking, camping, adventure gear) on BigCommerce. We run Meta Shopping and Google Shopping ads with a mid-sized monthly budget, but our ROAS needs a boost due to inconsistent reporting and untapped potential.
We’re looking for a Paid Ads Specialist to optimize campaigns, fix tracking, and drive higher returns—turning ads into a profit engine. This is a remote, part-time freelance role with growth potential.
Responsibilities
Optimize Meta Shopping and Google Shopping campaigns—refine targeting, bids, and product feeds to improve ROAS.
Fix ad tracking—sync BigCommerce with Meta/Google for accurate performance data (UTM tags, pixels).
Test and tweak existing catalog-based ads to lift click-through and conversion rates.
Prioritize high-margin products and adjust budget allocation.
Deliver weekly reports—ROAS, spend, results—and actionable recommendations.
Flag creative gaps (e.g., “lifestyle images could help”) without creating them yourself.
Requirements
Proven experience managing Meta Shopping and Google Shopping ads for ecommerce (1+ years).
Track record of improving ROAS—share a specific example.
Familiarity with BigCommerce ad integrations (or similar platforms like Shopify).
Strong analytics skills—Google Analytics, Meta Business Manager, Merchant Center.
Independent worker—can audit and optimize fast with minimal oversight.
Bonus: Experience with outdoor/lifestyle retail ecommerce, not DTC brands; creative testing knowledge.
Compensation & Hours
Rate: $40-60/hour, based on experience and proven ROAS /MER results.
Hours: 15-20 hours/week, flexible schedule. Starts with a 10-hour trial ($400-600) to assess fit.
Duration: 3-month contract, potential to extend if ROAS /. MER goals are met.
