Something Vintage Rentals (SVR) is looking for a creative and strategic Marketing Associate to lead and execute on-brand marketing campaigns that reinforce our reputation as the trend-setting luxury rental company on the East Coast. Our ideal candidate is highly agile, innovative, and detail-oriented, with an eye for design and a deep understanding of SVR’s aesthetic and mission. This person will develop and implement marketing strategies that attract high-end clients seeking a fun, joyful, and bold event experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy & Branding

Develop and execute an annual marketing strategy aligned with SVR’s short- and long-term goals.
Identify the best marketing channels and investments to attract high-end clients.
Ensure consistent brand messaging and visuals across social media, email campaigns, website, and paid ads.
Create engaging marketing concepts that drive interest and inspire potential clients.
Prepare monthly reports detailing marketing key metrics.

Content Creation & Social Media

Lead SVR’s Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest strategy to grow engagement and visibility.
Oversee and provide direction for the contracted social media team, ensuring all content aligns with SVR’s brand voice and values.
Design marketing content and assets for new inventory, seasonal trends, and industry events.
Develop seasonal or theme-based catalogs to promote new inventory, lounge packages, and event inspiration in accordance with sales team needs
Photograph and edit images of new inventory to be consistent with brand images on our website
Plan and execute 3-4 styled photoshoots per year in collaboration with the President.

Advertising & Performance Tracking

Manage paid advertising efforts to maximize return on investment.
Optimize email marketing, increasing frequency to twice weekly while tailoring messaging to different audience segments.
Track and analyze Google Analytics and social media metrics to refine strategies and enhance growth.

Website & Client Engagement

Maintain and update website imagery, copy, and SEO to highlight new inventory and services.
Manage SVR’s presence and client reviews on platforms like WeddingWire, The Knot, Washingtonian, and Google.
Create marketing assets for the sales team, internal communications, and public events.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in marketing, branding, and social media strategy, ideally in the event or luxury lifestyle industry.
Strong graphic design skills and proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
Expertise in social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest) and content creation.
Experience managing paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).
Ability to analyze marketing performance data and optimize campaigns accordingly.
Exceptional writing and communication skills to create compelling brand messaging.
Experience with Wordpress and ability to update website.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Positive, can do attitude
Transportation to work at our warehouse 4 days a week
