Director of Stores
We have an exciting retail opportunity to oversee the sales and operations of two of Vail’s most exciting women’s fashion stores. Elleston is a new luxury women’s clothing boutique in Vail, and Perch has been the leader in women’s contemporary fashion for over twelve years, directly across the street.
The ideal candidate will have several years of managerial and sales experience and the ability to manage a small team of people. Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities are required. The ability to drive sales goals and create an experiential shopping environment are essential to your success. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Minimum of 4 Experience in Retail sales in a leadership role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Strong problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience) is valuable
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
Experience with inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service
Experience working in luxury retail is a plus, with great style a must
Duties:
– Provide excellent customer service to all customers
– Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
– Meet or exceed sales goals and targets
– Conduct outside sales activities to attract new customers and expand the customer base
– Analyze market trends and customer preferences to identify business development opportunities
– Manage inventory levels and ensure products are adequately stocked on the sales floor
– Utilize technical sales knowledge to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers
Experience:
– Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
– Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
– Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
