Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Retail Marketing Leader to drive our marketing efforts across our Indiana and Michigan locations. This role is crucial in developing and executing marketing strategies that boost sales, enhance brand awareness, and engage our customer base. You will be responsible for creating compelling content, managing our digital presence, and coordinating promotional activities to maximize impact.
Requirements:
Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Weekly Unbeatable Deals Flyer Creation:
Design and produce our weekly “Unbeatable Deals” flyer using Canva.
Ensure timely distribution of the flyer via Klaviyo email campaigns and Facebook posts.
Store Marketing Call Participation:
Actively participate in the Tuesday morning store marketing call.
Review weekly flyer items and manager specials, providing strategic input.
Potentially lead the call, facilitating discussions and ensuring alignment across stores.
Social Media Management (Facebook & Instagram):
Manage and oversee our Facebook and Instagram pages for all Indiana and Michigan locations.
Develop and schedule engaging weekly posts, including flyer highlights and preview bin pictures.
Strategically boost posts within the marketing budget to maximize reach and engagement.
Website Content Management:
Create, update, and maintain content for our new website on a weekly basis.
Ensure website content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with marketing initiatives.
Flash Sale Coordination:
Coordinate and execute Wednesday and Thursday flash sale content across email, SMS, and Facebook.
Ensure timely and effective communication of flash sale promotions to customers.
Marketing Strategy & Planning:
Contribute to the development of overall marketing strategies and plans.
Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in retail marketing.
Budget Management:
Manage allocated marketing budget for social media boosting and other marketing activities.
Track and report on marketing expenditures.

Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in retail marketing or a related field.
Proficiency in Canva for graphic design.
Experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo preferred).
Strong understanding of social media marketing principles and best practices (Facebook and Instagram).
Experience with website content management systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Creative and strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
Knowledge of SMS marketing.
Basic understanding of marketing analytics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a multi-location retail environment.
Familiarity with local markets in Indiana and Michigan.
