The Sr. Marketing Technology & Lifecycle Manager is responsible for the management and optimization of the NNA’s marketing automation and digital communication platforms. This strategic role leads multi-channel campaign execution across email, SMS, push notifications, and web personalization while leveraging the Customer Data Platform (CDP) to enable sophisticated audience segmentation and journey orchestration. Working closely with Marketing, IT, and Analytics teams, this position drives revenue growth and customer retention through targeted communications at key points in the customer lifecycle. With a balance of strategic marketing expertise and technical execution capabilities, this position enhances customer engagement, drives conversions, and fosters long-term customer relationships through data-driven marketing practices that directly support NNA’s business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Multi-Channel Campaign Management & Lifecycle Marketing
Develop and manage lifecycle automation workflows across email, SMS, push, and web channels
Build trigger-based campaigns using real-time customer behaviors and event-based automation
Support the execution of campaigns by leveraging the CDP to:
Create customer segments based on behavior, demographics, and purchase history
Implement personalized content for specific audience segments
Coordinate delivery of content and offers across all touchpoints
Set up automated triggers based on customer behaviors and journey stages
Optimize campaign performance through A/B testing, audience segmentation, and personalization strategies
Align lifecycle programs with customer journey mapping and data insights to drive engagement and retention
Customer Data Platform (CDP) Management
Partner with IT to optimize the Customer Data Platform to support a single, actionable view of customers:
Identify data requirements and data inputs/integrations
Perform data validation and troubleshoot data issues
Maintain documentation and provide ongoing training
Enhance Braze integration with CDP (Optimizely ODP) to improve real-time audience segmentation and behavioral targeting
Implement automated audience adjustments within Braze to ensure customers receive relevant messaging based on behavioral insights
Email & SMS Campaign Management
Manage the deployment of marketing and transactional communications:
Build responsive templates that adhere to brand guidelines
Conduct quality checks and support campaign development
Stay current with email/SMS best practices and regulations
Enhance reporting to include long-term trends and conversion impact
Leverage Liquid scripting for dynamic content personalization in email and SMS messaging
Implement conditional logic and real-time segmentation to enhance user engagement
Integrate REST APIs and webhooks to enable real-time customer data syncing and automation triggers
Analytics & Optimization
Partner with Reporting Analyst and IT to derive valuable customer and channel insights from CDP data
Utilize Google Analytics (GA4), Braze analytics, and CDP insights to measure campaign effectiveness
Improve attribution tracking across channels and maintain data hygiene
Optimize multi-touch attribution to enhance performance reporting and marketing insights
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
Partner with Marketing, Product, IT, and Data Science teams to align automation strategies with business goals
Contribute to the MarTech roadmap by evaluating emerging marketing technologies and trends
Provide training and guidance on best practices for marketing automation and lifecycle engagement
Manage vendor relationships and ensure regulatory compliance

THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS YOU BRING
Education & Experience
BA/BS, or relevant experience in lieu of a degree highly preferred, diploma required
5+ years of experience in marketing, with 3+ in email and campaign production role
Technical Skills
Strong experience with customer engagement platforms (CEP) such as Braze, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar technologies
Strong knowledge of Liquid scripting, REST APIs, and webhook integrations
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and related technologies for email and web standards
Technical proficiency in data-driven personalization, A/B testing, and performance optimization
Strong analytical skills in attribution modeling and campaign performance analysis
Familiarity with email/SMS regulations and compliance requirements

Familiarity with SQL, Python, or JavaScript for marketing automation
Understanding of privacy & compliance regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

SALARY
$95,000 – $115,000 annually
10% annual bonus target
