Overview
The Community Associations Institute Greater Houston Chapter (CAI GHC) is looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to assist in planning and executing branding strategies, member communications, publications, social media, websites, product positioning, email blasts, and more. Graphic design and marketing efforts will assist CAI GHC in achieving its core objectives; drive membership, event attendance, and overall brand awareness and loyalty.
Responsibilities
Support CAI GHC marketing, including: graphic design, email marketing, web/email information requests, trade show coordination and social media campaigns.
Design online and print advertising, brochures, newsletters and other marketing collateral and presentation materials. Make artistic layouts independently under general supervision and within brand guidelines.
Monitor and update websites, marketing activities and member benefit programs for continuous improvement.
Some video creation/editing
Assist in the management and updating of social media profiles.
Assist in the implementation of marketing programs through design, coordination activities and administrative duties such as tracking and reporting and keeping marketing materials organized and current.
Assist with projects which retain and grow membership, sponsorship, and advertiser revenue.
Provide graphic design assistance that is consistent and fits with the image and brand direction provided by management.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
2+ years of demonstrated marketing experience and social media expertise Skills
Strong proficiency using design software such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator and InDesign.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with video creation; production, editing and posting experience highly desirable.
Previous experience in production and design procedures for graphic material (both print and online).
Organized and demonstrate strong attention to detail, effectively prioritize multiple tasks and establish responsible deadlines and personal work plans.
Independent self-starter with ability to work as a member of a team.
Unique creative talents with an eye towards fresh and original design concepts.
Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement tools.
