The purpose of the Marketing and Communications Coordinator is to clearly and effectively communicate the mission and vision of TeenWorks to internal and external constituents. This position is a full-time position and reports to the Vice President of Development and Communications. This position is an integral part of TeenWorks and will successfully highlight TeenWorks impact with the goal to 1. engage more teens and 2. raise more funds to empower teens to achieve excellence in community, college, and career. This position will also collaborate with other staff members on activities designed to enhance and support the overall mission of TeenWorks.
Responsibilities• Manage TeenWorks’ social mediao Implement a cohesive strategy based on best practices• Manage TeenWorks’ e-mail marketingo Develop segmented communication and implement annual communication strategy• Design print and digital media• Create and maintain a content library• Work alongside the Programs Team to identify teens that can be featured to share the impact of TeenWorks mission• Update TeenWorks’ website as needed• Maintain relationships with all media partners• Write and distribute press releases as necessary• Oversee TeenWorks direct mail fundraising campaigns• Develop an annual online giving campaignSuccess Indicators• Strong attention to detail and highly organized• Effectively prioritizes• Ability to think and plan 90-180 days in advance• Clearly communicates the mission and vision of the organization verbally and writtenQualifications• Experience in non-profit marketing and communication a plus• Ability to work with tools including but not limited to Canva, Classy, MailChimp, and Salesforce• Strong computer skills• Entreprenurial spirit
Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
