Marketing Support Specialist (part-time; up to 29 hrs/week)

Open to someone looking for a summer internship or a part-time temporary marketing role. Position can start as soon as April 2025 and end date is at least through the summer/fall.

Job Description
We are looking for a Member Development Manager to drive growth within a region of members. This position involves making outgoing phone calls, hosting virtual meetings with YMCA members and prospects, and leveraging numerous supplier partner offerings to increase sales. The candidate will cultivate relationships to drive the overall value of YPurchasing. The MDM will handle customer inquiries promptly and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere.
Position Responsibilities
Format, organize and update content for online newsletters on an as needed basis
Data entry in Constant Contact database
Social media and content / information postings in LinkedIn, Facebook and web site
Maintenance of sales & marketing material, web site information, etc.
Assistance with Webinar duties
Assistance with creating and managing YPurchasing brand and assets
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Graphic Design or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s
1+ years of marketing experience preferred
Must have experience with Constant Contact and Canva
Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
Exposure to database driven applications
Word Press CMS and graphic design experience a plus
