Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of project management skills and a deep understanding of customer relationship management, enabling them to effectively negotiate and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

The Business Develpment manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives.
Actively participate in industy related trade associations
Collaborate/coordinate project leads with business development partners
Maintain regular contact with signed accounts to understand needs and identify new business opportunities
Identify and pursue new market opportunities through research and networking.
Foster strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new partnerships.
Proactively source and develop new client relationships and referrals
Collaborate with sales teams to align business development strategies with sales goals.
Utilize Salesforce and other software tools for tracking leads, managing customer relationships, and analyzing market trends.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning efforts.
Exceptional and Proven leadership and team-building skills with proven negotioating ability
Ensure proper execution of sales plans
Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals
Prepare and present reports on business development activities and outcomes to senior management.

Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience and education required.
3-5 years proven track record of developing sales leads and executing on them or account management experience required.
Restoration industry sales experience or equivalent related field experience (such as HVAC, Plumbing, Construction, Water and Fire Restoration process) required
Proficient in customer relationship management practices and tools, particularly Salesforce.
Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing deals successfully.
Ability to collaborate effectively across departments to drive sales initiatives.
Strategic planning capabilities that align with overall business objectives.
Familiarity with market analysis techniques to identify growth opportunities.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective stakeholder engagement.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $71,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Weekends as needed

Supplemental Pay:

Commission pay
