Summary of Position:
The Marketing Campaign Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns and promotional strategies for a portfolio of external client contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cross-channel marketing and be able to work closely with internal teams to create effective, data-driven campaigns that drive results. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and has a passion for developing marketing programs that engage and convert target audiences.
Performance Evaluation:
Formal evaluations will be conducted in 6-month intervals by the Marketing Manager to assess job performance.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Client Campaign Strategy and Execution:
Develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotions targeted at both existing and potential customers for a diverse range of external client contracts.
Work collaboratively with the design and internal teams to create compelling multimedia assets (e.g., digital graphics, email templates, print) for use across marketing channels.
Draft clear and concise marketing communications for digital and print channels, ensuring consistent messaging and branding aligned with client goals.
Create and manage mailing lists from marketing databases and execute direct mail/email campaigns to targeted customer segments.
Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data to recommend optimizations for ongoing and future initiatives.
Campaign Management Across Multiple Channels:
Plan and oversee the execution of direct marketing activities across multiple channels, including email, social media, digital ads, and more.
Continuously assess the performance of campaigns, identifying opportunities to improve engagement, conversion, and brand awareness for clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective execution of campaigns, ensuring that deliverables are met and client expectations are exceeded.
Client Collaboration and Support:
Serve as a key point of contact for clients regarding campaign strategy, execution, and results.
Provide regular updates and performance reports to clients, offering insights and actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with clients to refine marketing strategies, tailor campaigns, and adjust messaging based on evolving business goals and market dynamics.
Ensure that all campaigns are aligned with client objectives, timelines, and budgets.
Internal Team Collaboration:
Actively participate in internal meetings to ensure smooth project execution and cross-departmental alignment.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create marketing strategies that maximize client results.
Support the development of new marketing strategies, tools, and processes that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Additional Responsibilities:
Support other marketing and design needs as requested by the Marketing Manager or leadership team.
Travel, as applicable, to client locations or events for campaign execution and strategy development.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Multiple years of experience in the marketing field, specifically in executing client-driven marketing campaigns.
Portfolio of previous work demonstrating successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
Strong proficiency in content creation and multimedia design, including digital graphics and email marketing.
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for client-focused marketing.
Strong ability to manage and execute campaigns across email, direct mail, digital ads, and social media.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
Proven experience in utilizing marketing databases and analytics tools to segment customer data, track performance, and optimize campaigns.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Analytical mindset, capable of assessing campaign results and providing actionable insights.
Experience working with clients, including managing expectations, building relationships, and delivering results.
Proficient with marketing software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other related tools.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation is commensurate with skills, education, and experience between $55,000-$57,000/year.
