Position Overview:
Prysmian / Encore Wire is looking for a results-focused Marketing Specialist to join our team! The Marketing Specialist role supports the McKinney Marketing department with content creation, social media & copywrite development; proactive tradeshow support; and miscellaneous digital and promotional Marketing efforts serving the needs for the Company, Prysmian / Encore Wire Rep Agencies and select Distributors.
Essential Job Functions:
Develop print and digital collateral using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva
Coordinate social media objectives with content creation, profile management, and customer engagement, as well as keeping abreast of social media trends
Assist with the development of articles, advertising and communications materials by creative design and creative writing services to effectively represent the products, services, brands and/or the organization to customers and prospects
Actively engage with our manufacturer’s representatives, providing timely assistance for specification sheet requests
Support the implementation of Marketing programs and analyze their effectiveness
Oversee and maintain Marketing closet fulfilling literature, display and promotional requests, while ensuring items are up to date and in stock
Proactively plan and execute details for successful tradeshow events
Ensure consistent branding throughout the Company and with our Rep and Customer partners
Collaborate with internal departments and external affiliates for various Marketing needs
Conduct market research to assist in targeted messaging, product placement, development and expansion
Provide analytics and reporting to help shape future marketing campaigns and strategies
Contribute unique ideas to advance the Marketing goals for Prysmian / Encore Wire
Fast learner with an ability to adapt techniques based on requirements with the ability to problem solve
Ability to create and edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in Marketing or Communications • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field • Expert on content creation using Adobe Create Suite
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook, Teams and AI tools
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy is a must
Sound understanding of digital marketing platforms and brand standards
Self-starter with the ability to prioritize work assignments under tight deadlines and make independent decisions critical to job success
Team oriented; maintains composure and is adaptable to the changing needs of the team
Fast learner with an ability to problem solve and adapt techniques based on requirements
Ability to travel on occasion
Ability to lift 30 lbs
