The Marketing Analyst is a key member of the North American Active Oxygens Marketing & Business Support team, focused on developing and executing strategic marketing activities, business intelligence, and ensuring compliance with Evonik standards across all commercial processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Commercial Forecasting & Reporting: Work closely with sales, supply chain, and controlling teams to prepare monthly sales forecasts and long-term projections. Manage IBP forecasting templates and provide detailed results by segment and product line, ensuring alignment across departments.
Customer Portfolio & Market Analysis: Provide customer profitability reports, support portfolio optimization and segmentation, and work with supply chain for margin calculations.
Market Intelligence: Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to maintain, analyze, and enhance the market intelligence database. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to elevate the quality of our tools and data, and develop innovative ideas for ongoing enhancements
CRM Management: Administer the CRM tool (MS Dynamics), ensuring customer contact data is updated and managing sales reporting.
Dashboard Management: Oversee BI dashboards related to business targets and SAP data, offering performance analysis and continuous improvement plans.
Investment & Prioritization Support: Assist with investment analysis and prioritization for regional segments.
Sales & Marketing Tools: Ensure the use of Evonik’s standard tools and compliance with operating procedures for sales and marketing processes.
Sales Support: Aid in price surcharge calculations, customer performance reporting, and net working capital improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
College degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience in sales, marketing, or related fields.
Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SAP (Preferred).
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across business functions.
