We are partnering with a leading life sciences company seeking an experienced Marketing Communications Manager to lead a growing team and drive impactful content strategies. This role is ideal for a strong leader who can train, inspire, and streamline workflows, ensuring high-quality, cohesive messaging across all channels.
Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid – On-site preferred)
Salary: $125,000 – $135,000 + 13% bonus & benefits

About the Role:
We are looking for a strong manager with experience leading larger teams (8-10 people). The ideal candidate will be able to streamline workflows, oversee quality control, and ensure timely content delivery, while also mentoring the team and maintaining a consistent brand voice across marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing & technical writers
✅ Oversee content strategy, messaging, and brand consistency
✅ Ensure timely execution of projects and work closely with graphics teams
✅ Work with Marketo & Google AdWords to optimize marketing efforts
✅ Proofread and refine content to ensure clarity and accuracy
✅ Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing with business objectives
What We’re Looking For:
Marketing communications experience in life sciences (degree not required)
Proven team leadership, managing 5+ direct reports
Ability to train, inspire, and optimize workflows—no hand-holding
Strong project management and content strategy expertise
Experience with Marketo & Google AdWords preferred
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
