Principal Objective of the Position We seek an experienced communications professional to join our Creative Services team. This individual will manage and support marketing communications projects and serve as a primary
brand ambassador
for Scott Insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
Enable and support the sales process
Position Scott as a leader in
service excellence
and an industry expert to drive client retention and generate new sales
Develop communications and resources to ensure that employee owners feel engaged and invested in Scott, and can effectively perform their job responsibilities
Participate in the development and successful implementation of integrated marketing strategies and associated programs
Manage the planning, development, and implementation of all marketing
communication
, events and public relations activities, including print collateral materials, digital content, and promotions to support marketing and sales objectives and maximize positive exposure in local, national, and industry-specific markets
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:10+ years of experience in public relations and/or a B.S./B.A. or advanced degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related fields
A confident communicator who can convey messages clearly and effectively
Strong relationship builder, both internally and externally, with press and member company contacts
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Strong
project management
and time management skills
Possess exceptional marketing, events, and outreach knowledge
Creative and able to lead projects independently and collaboratively with stakeholders
Strong
problem-solving skills
Self-motivated and positive
Solid understanding of contemporary marketing communications practices and trends
Familiarity with inbound marketing and content marketing concepts and strategies
Basic design skills and competency for website and social media graphics
