Job Title: Email Marketing & Website Project Manager
Reports to: Chief of Staff
Position Type: Full Time, Exempt
Annual Salary: $68,000/yearly
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Paid Time Off in addition to 10 Paid Holidays, 401k Match
Schedule: 80 hours per 2-week pay period. Paid every two weeks.
Location: Portland, Oregon. This is an in-office position.
Position Description:
The Email Marketing & Website Project Manager plays a crucial role in executing and optimizing digital marketing strategies to enhance audience engagement, drive brand awareness, and maximize conversions. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong blend of marketing, automation, and project management expertise who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.
As the Email Marketing & Website Project Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing email marketing campaigns that captivate audiences, nurture leads, and drive business objectives. You will manage HubSpot’s marketing hub, leveraging list segmentation, automation workflows, and data analytics to refine engagement strategies.
Additionally, you will oversee website projects, ensuring that our digital platforms are user-friendly, visually compelling, and aligned with brand objectives. You will collaborate with developers, designers, and content teams to continuously enhance website performance, optimize for SEO, and improve overall user experience.
This role requires experience with Hubspot, a data-driven mindset, exceptional project management skills, and a passion for digital marketing. You will work cross-functionally with creative, sales, editorial, and executive teams to develop and execute digital strategies that support both Artslandia and En Face Magazine’s growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Email Marketing
Execute comprehensive email marketing strategies that align with business goals and drive audience engagement.
Oversee end-to-end campaign management, including content creation, design, segmentation, and deployment.
Manage and optimize HubSpot’s marketing hub, leveraging automation workflows, audience segmentation, and A/B testing for maximum impact.
Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, email content, and send times to optimize performance.
Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations and industry best practices.
Monitor and analyze email campaign metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) to provide data-driven insights and optimize strategies.
Collaborate with creative, sales, and editorial teams to develop compelling content and promotional strategies.
Stay up-to-date with email marketing trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve campaigns.
Website Project Management
Oversee website updates, content management, and UX enhancements to ensure brand consistency and functionality.
Work closely with developers, designers, and content teams to improve site performance and navigation.
Maintain website functionality by troubleshooting and fixing breaks, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Manage SEO optimization initiatives, ensuring best practices are followed to enhance organic search visibility.
Implement and track website analytics (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.), interpreting data to identify trends, improve engagement, and increase conversions.
Conduct A/B testing on website elements (landing pages, CTA buttons, layouts) to optimize user experience and conversion rates.
Ensure website security, functionality, and compliance with best practices, including regular audits and troubleshooting.
Perform regular site maintenance, identifying and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
As needed, coordinate with external vendors and partners on web development and digital projects.
Stay informed about emerging web technologies and trends, recommending innovative solutions for improving digital engagement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in email marketing, website management, or digital marketing.
Proficiency in Hubspot, WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, and ZoomInfo is required.
Strong expertise in list segmentation and email marketing strategy and creation.
Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot,) and CRM systems.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts is a plus.
Strong understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and website performance metrics.
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Basecamp, Airtable).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective stakeholder communication skills, both internal and external, with the ability to articulate company strategy and performance.
Collaborative mindset with experience working with sponsors, executives, department heads, and designers for impactful marketing materials.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
