The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for representing the company’s brand as effectively as possible. This will include an acceleration of sales through successful marketing campaigns, and developing a strategy to execute all external communications. The outcome of these goals will lead to greater demand for the company’s products and services.Â

Job Responsibilities:
Develop and foster a positive image and relationship between the hotel and the public, i.e. media, vendors, suppliers, guests, clients and the community via any potential marketing channels
Assist in executing various Marketing Communications activities to facilitate the hotel business and brand building
Identify publicity opportunities and develop media relations plans both online, locally and internationally to maximize the hotel’s exposure and reputation
Develop hotel collaterals and ensure the promotional message and hotel brand image is effectively communicated to the target audience and layouts confirm to Accor Brand Standards
Serve as liaison with community, charitable, travel industry, arts and local corporate groups
Achieve the KPI of the year in terms of number and value of free media coverage, media relationship, development of social media & online eMarketing promotion, creativity & knowledge of the market trend, brand product & service audit, update of departmental SOP & JD, and participation of charity events
Possess a detailed understanding of the hotel’s commitments regarding Sustainable Development. Ensure that the operation and policies of the department are designed around the principles of the ISO14001 and hotel sustainable development program
Job Requirements:
University degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality or related discipline
5 years’ working experience in Communications or Marketing with at least 2 years in supervisory role
Excellent command of written and spoken English as well as Chinese
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Resourceful and proficient in copywriting and digital marketing
Work collaboratively with departments for all media requests and enquiries
Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and deliver results in timely manner
