We are looking for a highly organized and dynamic Events & Social Media Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in event planning, social media management, and marketing coordination. The ideal candidate will work closely with vendors, sales teams, and marketing leadership to execute impactful events and engaging online campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate tradeshow-style events, working with vendors, sales representatives, and destination organizations to ensure seamless execution.
Schedule and book flights, hotels, and accommodations for traveling sales staff.
Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to determine event strategies and required materials.
Oversee inventory of marketing materials such as flyers, business cards, and promotional items, ensuring supplies are stocked and reordered as needed.
Manage social media accounts, create engaging content, and develop campaigns to enhance brand presence.
Execute email marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies.
Assist in additional marketing initiatives as needed, supporting content creation and promotional efforts.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with experience in event planning.
Knowledge of social media platforms and content creation strategies.
Ability to work collaboratively with vendors, sales teams, and marketing personnel.
Experience with booking travel arrangements and coordinating logistics.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with marketing materials production and inventory management.
Basic design skills and working knowledge of Adobe software are a plus.
Proficiency in creating visually engaging images and compelling content for social media and email campaigns.
Desired Skills:
Experience with email marketing tools and social media management platforms.
Knowledge of tradeshow and event coordination best practices.
Understanding of marketing collateral production and distribution.
Ability to analyze social media and email campaign performance.
