Position Overview:
The Vice President of Digital Marketing will be responsible for driving the overall digital marketing strategy and execution across multiple digital platforms. This role will lead a team of digital marketing professionals, work closely with other departments (including Sales, Product, and IT), and report to the Chief Marketing Officer. The VP will play a key role in shaping the company’s digital presence, enhancing user experience, and ensuring measurable results that align with the company’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and execute the overall digital marketing strategy aligned with the company’s business goals.
Set long-term and short-term digital marketing goals, including customer acquisition, lead generation, and retention.
Drive innovation and lead cross-functional teams in the development of digital marketing campaigns.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing digital marketing team across various functions (SEO, SEM, social media, content, email, and paid media).
Provide coaching, guidance, and career development opportunities to team members.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
Digital Campaign Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of digital campaigns across various platforms (Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
Ensure campaigns are effective and provide a high return on investment (ROI).
Continuously analyze performance metrics, optimize campaigns, and adjust strategies as needed.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Use data analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.) to track digital marketing performance and customer behavior.
Leverage insights to refine strategies, improve conversions, and enhance customer experience.
Monitor KPIs and develop reports for senior management, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
Brand Management & Content Strategy:
Oversee the development of a content strategy that aligns with digital marketing efforts.
Ensure brand consistency across all digital channels, including website, email marketing, social media, and paid ads.
Drive the creation of engaging content and innovative campaigns to build brand awareness and engage target audiences.
Technology & Tools:
Stay current with digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
Evaluate and implement marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and other technologies to improve digital marketing efficiency.
Work closely with IT and other teams to ensure seamless integration between systems.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Product Development, and Customer Service, to align digital marketing strategies with broader business objectives.
Present strategies, plans, and performance to senior leadership and key stakeholders regularly.
Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners as needed.
Budget Management:
Manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across digital initiatives.
Optimize spend and ROI across all digital channels.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Expertise in digital marketing platforms, tools, and technologies (SEO, SEM, Google Ads, Social Media, Email Marketing, etc.).
Proven ability to develop and execute digital marketing strategies that drive measurable business results.
Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
Data-driven with a solid understanding of web analytics, performance metrics, and reporting.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Experience in eCommerce, SaaS, or B2B/B2C industries is a plus.
A deep understanding of consumer behavior and digital marketing trends.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $165,000.00 – $185,000.00 per year
