Job Summary
We are a small company looking for someone to work part time and from home to manage the marketing for the two companies we own. It’s a welding/fabrication company and a trademark that builds fireproof rooms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance our brand presence and drive customer engagement. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and leadership abilities to effectively manage various marketing initiatives across multiple channels.
We’re a small company so you won’t be just another number or employee like you would at a large firm. Your opinion on how things should be done will be very important to us and we’re hoping to find someone to tell us what to do when it comes to marketing!
We expect this role to be a couple hours some weeks and a couple days other weeks depending on the work load. We’re not looking for a set amount of hours more than we are completing the work in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement marketing plans that align with business objectives
Creating social media/blog/vlog posts (we’ll provide pictures, videos, and of course training on what the actual content is)
Creating and ordering physical marketing tools (brochures, fliers, etc.)
Utilize SEO best practices to optimize web content and improve search engine rankings.
Manage the marketing budget effectively
Qualifications
A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (optional, but preferred)
Experience in a marketing management role with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
Proficiency in WordPress, content marketing, product management, Google advertising platforms, and SEO practices.
Experience with budgeting and financial management within a marketing context.
Familiarity with HTML is a plus for website management tasks.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
Strong analytical skills to assess campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.00 – $32.09 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
