Job Overview
As a Rental Manager, you will oversee the booking and hospitality services for the campground, ensuring a welcoming and organized experience for all guests. This role involves managing bookings, coordinating with guests, promoting the campground through marketing efforts, and handling office administration. The Rental Manager plays a key role in maintaining a positive and efficient rental process while upholding the values and mission of the campground.
Duties
Customer Booking: manage incoming phone calls and emails; handle all rental inquiries; provide customer tours; take reservations and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed; maintain Google rental calendar; document and convey customer feedback; foster positive business relationships; maintain customer records/folders; etc.
Hospitality Services: periodically check facilities and grounds to ensure they are attractive to renters; provide camp caretaker with all check-in information; etc.
Sales and Marketing: maintain customer contact list; support development of promotional materials; work with Board committees for marketing and customer care; help maintain social media presence; maintain local community relations; etc.
Office Management: get, sort, and distribute mail; customer billing; keep record of expenses and receipts; etc.
Qualifications
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to create a friendly and welcoming environment
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Proficient in basic computer applications, including email, word processing, and spreadsheets
Experience with marketing and promotional strategies
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
