Summary

The Marketing and Outreach Manager will be responsible for the execution of marketing initiatives to promote our programs, projects, and community engagement efforts. This role focuses on implementing marketing campaigns, producing content, managing digital platforms, and ensuring brand consistency. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and excels in marketing execution.

Duties and Responsibilities

Content Creation & Management: Develop, edit, and publish marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, website content, press releases, blog posts, and social media content.
Social media & Digital Marketing: Manage and update social media accounts, monitor engagement, respond to inquiries, and create digital advertising campaigns.
Email Marketing: Execute email marketing campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact, including list management, content creation, and performance tracking.
Event & Community Outreach Support: Organize and Promote community events, workshops, and fundraising activities through marketing channels.
Graphic Design & Branding: Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials by designing simple graphics and collaborating with designers as needed.
Marketing Collateral & Printing Coordination: Coordinate the production and distribution of flyers, posters, banners, and other promotional materials.
Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing efforts and provide reports to leadership.
Vendor & Partner Coordination: Work with external vendors, photographers, videographers, and media contacts to support marketing initiatives.
Carry out additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in nonprofit, affordable housing, or community development sectors.
Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter) and content management systems (WordPress, Squarespace, or similar).
Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with teams.
Passion for affordable housing and community development is a plus.
Proficiency in both spoken and written Spanish required. Fluency Preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities •

This position supervises 1 – 2 employees.

Compensation and Benefits

$55,000 Salary – Based on Experience
Bonus – Based on production goals met
