Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator – Nashville will serve as a vital connection between the firm’s Nashville office and the Marketing & Business Development team, ensuring the seamless execution of marketing and business development strategies in alignment with firmwide goals. This role supports office-specific initiatives, coordinates local marketing and business development activities, and enhances the office’s visibility in the Nashville market. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Nashville Office Managing Partner (OMP), Office Administrator (OA), and the broader Marketing & Business Development team.

Essential Functions

Local Market & Office Needs:

Collaborate with the OMP and OA to identify marketing and business development needs specific to the Nashville office and its local market.
Plan and execute client-facing or business development events and sponsorships to enhance the Nashville office’s visibility and community presence.
Identify advertising and nomination opportunities to elevate the office’s profile, including local accolades or recognitions, and work with the OMP to select nominees.
Ensure on-site availability of branded materials, such as banners, table throws, and promotional items.
Maintain and manage firm memberships in local chambers of commerce and other business organizations, ensuring attorneys have access to participate. Proactively share relevant opportunities with attorneys, including events and initiatives.

Event Management

Coordinate all necessary resources for successful execution of client-facing or business development events in Nashville.
Serve as the on-the-ground event coordinator for firm, practice, or office events, working with the Marketing & Business Development team to meet deadlines.
Provide post-event analysis and feedback to the OMP and OA to evaluate success and areas for improvement.
Attend events as needed to ensure smooth execution and manage follow-up tasks.

Monthly Newsletter Development

Develop and distribute a monthly Nashville office newsletter to keep attorneys and staff informed about upcoming events, sponsorships, recognitions, and community involvement.
Work with the OMP, OA, and Marketing & Business Development team to gather and curate content for the newsletter.

Communication & Coordination

Collaborate with the Marketing Communications team to identify and execute media opportunities, including updates on Nashville attorneys for press releases and social media posts.
Conduct regular check-ins with the OMP to discuss ongoing needs, priorities, and opportunities. Provide updates during the Marketing Communications meeting & the Business Development team meetings.
Act as the primary point of contact for office-level marketing and business development inquiries, looping in practice and industry specific Business Development Managers as needed.
Leverage department resources to support events, sponsorships, advertising, and other initiatives.

Relationship Management

Build and maintain relationships with local media outlets (e.g., Nashville Business Journal, Nashville Post) and organizations, such as chambers of commerce, business associations, and charitable organizations, to increase the office’s visibility and engagement.
Work with the OA to identify and promote office initiatives, such as charitable activities, for firmwide recognition and social media sharing.

Resource Management

Assist with managing the office-level marketing budget, including sponsorships, expense tracking, and resource allocation.
Support the OMP and OA in preparing budget proposals for local marketing initiatives.

Reporting & Analysis

Track the success of office initiatives, analyze trends, and present strategic recommendations to enhance visibility and engagement.
Hold regular meetings with the OMP and OA to report on upcoming events and initiatives.
Provide regular updates to the Marketing & Business Development team on local activities and achievements.

Practice Group Support (as requested)

Assist practice groups with pitches, RFP responses, presentations, and marketing collateral as requested by Business Development Managers.
Support experience collection, CLE credit applications, and the creation of brochures, attorney biographies, and practice descriptions as requested by Business Development Managers.
Collaborate on rankings, nominations, and directory submissions for Nashville-based attorneys as requested by Business Development Managers.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field, preferred.

Experience:

2-4 years of administrative experience, preferably in a professional services firm.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Accuracy, attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task.
Strong client service focus and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Various physical activity may be required.
Knowledge of the Nashville market and its business landscape is required.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
