Sales and Marketing Director – The Grande Senior Living
(Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care)
Job Summary:
The Grande Senior Living is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Director to lead our sales efforts and drive occupancy growth. This role is ideal for a passionate sales professional with experience in senior living, marketing, and relationship-building. The Sales and Marketing Director will be responsible for internal sales, external marketing initiatives, community outreach, and referral development to ensure our Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care services reach the right audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Guide prospective residents and their families through the decision-making process, building trust and confidence in our community.
Proactively follow up on inquiries, conduct community tours, and manage the move-in process to ensure a seamless transition.
Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and consistently meet or exceed occupancy goals.
Develop relationships with prospective residents and families, assisting with sales, collection of deposits, and community fees.
Marketing & Outreach:
Develop and execute marketing strategies to generate leads and enhance brand awareness.
Plan and implement targeted campaigns to reach potential residents and referral sources.
Conduct outreach efforts within the local community to generate high-quality leads that convert to move-ins.
Identify advertising opportunities and collaborate with the team to design effective marketing materials.
Ensure adequate promotional products and participation in community events to enhance visibility.
Relationship Building & Referral Development:
Establish and maintain relationships with key referral sources, including healthcare providers, hospitals, social workers, senior centers, and community organizations.
Network within the community to expand referral partnerships and create new business opportunities.
Represent the community at networking events, health fairs, and senior-focused programs.
Events & Engagement:
Organize and host on-site and off-site events to engage potential residents and referral partners.
Collaborate with internal departments to create meaningful and engaging experiences for prospects and their families.
Collaboration & Reporting:
Work closely with the Executive Director and department heads to ensure seamless move-ins and admissions.
Track sales metrics, analyze trends, and complete weekly and quarterly sales reports to optimize strategies for success.
Manage and maintain the internal marketing budget.
Work daily within the company’s CRM lead system to complete calls, update leads, and track outreach efforts.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in senior living or healthcare.
Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships with referral sources and prospective residents.
A sales-driven mindset with a history of meeting and exceeding quotas.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to multi-task and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications; experience with advertisements is a plus.
Must have a reliable vehicle for external marketing and outreach efforts.
