Job Title: Marketing Coordinator

Job Description:
Atlantic Farms, a vertically integrated employee owned cannabis company is seeking a highly organized and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Portland, ME. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring our brand, products, promotions and events are effectively communicated across all channels to support customer & sales growth in the Market. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, a team player, and the ability to maintain consistency across various marketing platforms. This individual will need to have a strong understanding & knowledge of the cannabis plant, and the different products and how they are produced. The ability to work efficiently and effectively within the Adobe Suite, and to be able to quickly pick up and learn the additional systems Atlantic Farms currently uses in its marketing toolbox. The Marketing coordinator will report directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, and is an in person position at our Anderson st. Portland office.
Key Responsibilities:
● Product Catalogue Management:
○ Create, update, and maintain accurate product catalogues for all Atlantic Farms products, ensuring product descriptions and photos are current for both third-party platforms and Atlantic Farms’ internal materials.
○ Collaborate with product teams to ensure accurate, up-to-date product information is represented across all digital and print materials.
○ Communicate with vendors & producers to ensure descriptions are accurate.
● Retail Event Planning and Promotion:
○ Work closely with the Product Manager & Retail Managers of each location, to plan, promote, and coordinate retail events and company events.
○ Manage the company Events Calendar
○ Each Retail location Goal – 1-2 per month
○ Develop promotional strategies and materials to drive event attendance and engagement.
● Brand/Logo Asset Management:
○ Design, update, and maintain all brand assets, including logos, visual styles, and collateral, ensuring brand consistency across digital and print formats.
○ Ensure all marketing materials, including promotional materials and packaging, adhere to Atlantic Farms’ brand guidelines and state and local compliance.
● Digital Presence & Social Media:
○ Manage AF’s online presence across various platforms including our website, social media channels, Weedmaps, and Leafly.
○ Manage Theatlanticfarms.com & inquiries that come thru our webpage.
○ Maintain and uphold AF’s core values and brand message across all digital content, ensuring consistency across all posts, comments, and interactions.
● Creative Development:
○ Create engaging content for digital platforms, print materials, packaging, promotional campaigns, and internal communications.
○ Develop posts, stories, reels, to grow our following and increase awareness of the brand, products, team, and company.
● Market Research & Analysis:
○ Conduct ongoing market research to ensure AF remains competitive in the marketplace and stays aligned with trends in retail and cannabis marketing.
○ Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and events to refine strategies for future efforts.
● Collaboration & Communication:
○ Collaborate cross-functionally with the Sales, Operations, and Product teams to ensure alignment in marketing efforts and initiatives.
○ Communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of all marketing-related activities.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
● 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the cannabis or retail industry.
● Proficiency & strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and or similar tools.
● Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
● Website management & design experience
● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
● Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
● Passion for the cannabis industry and aligning with AF’s values and mission.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience with cannabis-related platforms such as Weedmaps, Leafly, or similar.
● Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and website design.
● Experience planning and executing retail events.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
