The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing and distributing recruitment marketing materials and executing effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent to Cook County Health (CCH). This role is essential in promoting the CCH employer brand and ensuring marketing efforts align with recruitment goals and hiring needs. The Marketing Coordinator works closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and the broader Talent Acquisition team to deliver high-quality, targeted marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Marketing and Branding:
Develop, manage, and distribute recruitment marketing materials to support candidate sourcing and engagement efforts.
Ensure all materials align with the CCH employer brand and maintain consistency across all channels.
Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to create content that highlights organizational values, culture, and career opportunities.
Sourcing Strategy Development:
Design and implement sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates for various roles, leveraging data insights and recruitment trends.
Identify new and creative marketing channels to expand the talent pool, including digital advertising, social media, and community outreach.
Work with recruiters to optimize job postings and candidate-facing content for maximum visibility and engagement.
Collaboration with Hiring Teams:
Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to align marketing efforts with staffing needs and organizational priorities.
Act as a liaison between recruitment and marketing to ensure cohesive communication and branding strategies.
Quality Control and Performance Monitoring:
Establish and oversee quality control processes for recruitment marketing materials to ensure accuracy, compliance, and professionalism.
Track the performance of marketing campaigns and sourcing strategies, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Proven experience in marketing, recruitment marketing, or employer branding, preferably in a healthcare or public-sector environment.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva.
Experience with marketing platforms, including social media advertising tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google Ads) and email marketing platforms.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and talent acquisition technology is a plus.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and creative storytelling.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Work Environment and Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Marketing Manager or Talent Acquisition Lead.
Collaborative work environment requiring close interaction with recruiters, hiring managers, and external vendors.
May require occasional travel for recruitment events and employer branding activities.
