About the Role
We’re looking for a highly creative and strategic Social Media Manager to take the lead on growing our digital presence—primarily on TikTok and Instagram. This role is perfect for someone who has an eye for visual storytelling, understands platform trends, and is excited to build and nurture a brand from the ground up.You’ll wear multiple hats, but your main focus will be creating and curating content that reflects a strong, cohesive aesthetic, drives engagement, and ultimately fuels growth. You’ll also help shape our online community, collaborate with creators, and support our email marketing efforts.
ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Aesthetic Development (60%)
Create, film, edit, and post original content primarily for TikTok and Instagram (Reels, Stories, Posts, etc.)
Develop and maintain a consistent visual and brand aesthetic across all content
Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director to brainstorm, strategize, and plan the content calendar with weekly/monthly themes aligned with overall marketing goals
Stay on top of platform trends and adapt content strategy accordingly
Community Engagement & Growth (20%)
Build and engage with our online community by responding to DMs, comments, and tags
Monitor social media sentiment and feedback to inform content strategy
Initiate and lead social challenges, AMAs, giveaways, or lives to boost community engagement
UGC & Influencer Collaboration (10%)
Identify and reach out to relevant UGC creators and influencers for content partnerships
Coordinate deliverables, timelines, and brand alignment
Curate and repurpose UGC for social channels
Email Marketing & List Building (10%)
Strategize and implement tactics to grow our email list (via lead magnets, social callouts, etc.)
Design and schedule regular newsletters with engaging content and updates
Monitor email performance and optimize for engagement
Who You Are
A storyteller with a strong sense of aesthetics and design
Passionate about social media culture and deeply familiar with TikTok and Instagram
Confident on camera and comfortable filming yourself and others (you will not need to always be camera facing but occasionally)
Proactive, self-motivated, and resourceful—you don’t wait to be told what to do
Strong copywriting and visual content skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
