About the Position
We are searching for a Marketing Coordinator I to join our energetic and highly-motivated Energy Marketing group. This full-time position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of an integrated marketing team. The ideal candidate will be confident, observant, and detail-oriented with exceptional writing, organizational, and people skills. In this role, you will support the department’s overall marketing and business development functions, producing projects that meet quality and brand guidelines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You will work closely with technical staff to produce RFQs, RFPs, presentations, and other marketing materials while developing milestones and ensuring deadlines are met. You will also be responsible for incorporating and supporting adherence to brand standards and guidelines in all work products. As part of your role, you will lead the proposal and project production process, setting up meetings, managing follow-up communication, and tracking action items. Additionally, you will ensure marketing materials, resumes, and project data remain up-to-date. You will provide graphic design support for proposals, presentations, and collateral materials, as well as participate in lead tracking, pre-marketing activities, and industry research. You’ll support Pond’s participation in key industry and client events and collaborate with technical professionals for conferences and tradeshows. Furthermore, you will contribute to the design and content for the website, social media, and other web-based tools. Your responsibilities will also include conducting data entry and uploading tasks, participating in CRM activities, and ensuring that assigned work is completed on time, with attention to detail and in accordance with requirements. Adherence to company policies and procedures will be essential to your success in this role.
Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field
0-3 years of marketing experience
Preferred knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (InDesign, Illustrator)
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Ability to multitask with attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment
Exceptional and demonstrated writing and editing skills
Ability to work as a self-starter, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities
Strong ability to work well within a team environment, maintain a positive attitude, and stay self-motivated to produce high-quality work
Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
