Job Summary
We are seeking a Content Manager to oversee our content writing team and ensure all published material is SEO-optimized, reader-friendly, and free from generic or low-value content. This role is not just about proofreading—it’s about spotting weak, AI-generated, or filler content and transforming it into structured, informative, and conversion-driven material.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEO, content strategy, and editorial review, with the ability to train writers, enforce content standards, and create structured SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for optimizing service pages, blogs, location pages, and landing pages.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Review & Optimization:
Audit content submitted by writers to eliminate generic, AI-style, and fluff-heavy writing.
Ensure all content is buyer-intended, providing real value that engages and converts readers.
Improve clarity, structure, and flow to make content more user-friendly.
Verify that SEO best practices (keywords, headers, metadata, and internal linking) are properly implemented.
Identify duplicate, outdated, or underperforming content and provide structured revisions.
Editorial & Research-Based Content Enhancement:
Conduct in-depth research to ensure high-value, factual, and informative content.
Replace vague, surface-level content with actionable insights, statistics, case studies, and industry-specific details.
Work with the team to develop compelling narratives that resonate with our audience and outperform competitors.
Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s voice, audience needs, and SEO goals.
Content Team Management & Training:
Provide constructive criticism and coaching to improve writers’ research, formatting, and SEO understanding.
Develop and maintain SOPs, content guidelines, and checklists for optimizing content before submission.
Train writers on content structuring, reader engagement tactics, and SEO integration.
Collaborate with the SEO and marketing teams to align content with business goals and lead generation strategies.
Process Improvement & Strategy:
Work closely with leadership to refine content workflows and increase efficiency in content production.
Stay updated on Google algorithm changes, AI-generated content trends, and SEO best practices to continuously improve our content strategy.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 – $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
